Hi - at the moment the washing machine isn't completing the spin cycle - does this mean that the motor has gone? Can you please suggest whether or not we should get it repaired or buy a new one? Thanks Natalie
blockage in pump or hoses around that area,
faulty pump,
worn carbon brushes on motor,or faulty timer.
check the following,
put washer on drain only, does it empty water ok,
put washer on spin only (no water in machine) does it spin ok?

"There is a white screw off cap on the drain pump that you can remove to inspect the pump impeller and clean."

The washing machine makes a thumping noise when it spins. We leveled it and put rubber foot pads under it. Has anyone had this same problem? We had had the washer for 2 years abd this just started. Is it possible there is a rubber bumper insid ethe machine?
