This sounds like a SIM PIN code. If you eneter the wronmg SIM pin code too many times it should say you need an unblock code or a PUK or tell ou to call customer care. There is a special code called a PUK code that can be obtained from your carrier that will allow you to reset the pin code so you can access your phone. The PUK is specific to the SIM card so make sure they are working with the correct one before you enter the code tey provide.

My phone is lock

I had the same problem last year, I was messing around with the security part of my phone and I dialed in the wrong code so many times that my SIM card locked up on me and I couldn't call or text anyone, except to only 911. that is what is happening to you.
Since your SIM card is locked since you punched in the wrong PUK code, call your cell phone customer service, explain the situation, and what they did with me is they sent out a new SIM card in the mail to me. They would probably do the same thing to you as well. and when you get your new SIM card you would have to call your cell phone company customer service and have the SIM card activated.
Next time don't mess around with the security part of your phone and don't dial in any wrong codes that you don't know of. I learned my lesson when it happened to me. I went with a prepaid cell phone company and they said that if I did it again that they wouldn't give me another SIM card and I would have to purchase a new phone.
good luck :-)

When i turn the phone on. it first asks for sim code. when i enter it and it says accepted it comes up enter lock code ? i dont have a lock code.

the SIM code is the password/passcode for the sim card, no matter what phone you put it in, to keep your SIM safe from intrusion.

The Phone lock is the (usually) 4 digit pin to unlock the phone itself. this is more of a keylock, or an enhancement to the usual * unlock code.

if you don;t have a pin to unlock the phone, perhaps it is just * + green call button or something similar.

The default Security code for Nokia is 12345
IMEI: 358672010590572
Master code: 2501005436
Close all applications on your phone. (if you can)
With your phone switched ON, remove the battery.
Then remove the SIM card.
Replace the battery without the SIM card and switch your phone on.

Type in the security codes (anything) until the phone request the Master code, (in the phone lock window) when it does, leave your phone still, don’t use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code.
This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it’s for your phone only.
SIM pin code:
This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even
if your sim is put into another handset. To reset it, you need the PUK code:
Pin Unlock Code (PUK)
If you miss key (or forget) your SIM pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the SIM will lock up, and you’ll need to enter the PUK unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don’t try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
Phone Security Code:
This locks the handset, as opposed to the sim card. You can also set some handsets to only accept a “new” sim if the phone security code is entered. To reset it, you need the Master code code:
Master Reset Code
Sometimes known as the Master Code, this allows you to unlock a handset if you have entered the Security Code wrongly too many times.
Are you sure it’s the Master code you need. Which is the one that you want?

I need a puk code for an orange phone? without having to go to the problem of phoning up orange that takes ages!! the phone is an LG ISO 800.

The PUK code comes with the SIM card, the code is printed on the plastic card that the SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it only your network service provider can give it to you.
