D-Link Air-plus and Ares p2p (by 2 users)

My friend uses D-Link Air-plus and it functions normally while on the web, but for some reason I can not understand, when Ares is running the D-Link will function normally for a short time but then drop out and be unable to locate a wireless network, until you close ares and click on the repair tab on the Wireless Network Connection. I have tried Ares ver. 2.09 and then 2.08. No change in system behavior.
