unfortunately, you will not be able to fix this problem

since the hinges are obviously broken, your warranty (if you still had one) would be void as a result of physical damage

the screen on these phones do go blank, sometimes doing a soft reset (taking out the battery) will allow the screen to come back on

also, you can take it to a store and have a software flash performed on the phone, but if neither of these work then you will need to get a replacement phone... sorry
