Well, that's not an easy combination... You have to find Windows 7 drivers for your USB to Parallel adapter cable - if it's some Chinese unknown brand product you might not be very successful. If searching for drivers for your exact model fails, you can try to find out what chip is used inside the adapter and look for drivers for that particular chip. The chip symbol is sometimes mentioned on the box, and also you can try to read it from any other drivers you may have available for your adapter (look into the .ini or .inf files, opening them with Notepad).

I have a gateway MA7 and whenever i start it up it goes to the ''we wpologize for the inconvenience , but windows did not start successfully....'' screen. If I choose to start windows normally or from the last configuration that worked it goes to the windows xp screen and won't go past there. Any ideas on what might be wrong or how to get it to work?
