Problem for Dell "Inspiron 2200" PC Notebook

Dell Inspiron Netbook UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT PROBLEM

My Dell Inspiron NETBOOK says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_PROBLEM. And because it is a NETBOOK, it does not have a disk drive. I can't restart in safe mode and the computer has windows xp. What do I do??

- Is that the only solution? Or would there be a way to fix it WITHOUT a disk?? If not then thanks anyways!! :)

An UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME is a failure to read the operating system. You will need to boot to an XP CD via external Optical Drive and run CHKDSK /R to try to the resolve the error.

It is possible that the HDD or Solid State Drive (SSD) is failing and will need replacement.
