Just purchased an asus k60 from best buy uninstalled the built in virus protection TREND and downloaded MCAFEE from my internet provider FREE comcast. Statted getting error messages (comcastantispymodule)MCafee had me uninstall the comcasttoolbar after I powered up another error-HARD DRIVE FAILED-brought it back to BEST bUY got a new one AM now not going near MCAFEE, keeping the 6 month free trial of TREND guess I pay for it DO NOT Use mcafee--with Windows &-did i do anything wrong?

that was your first fatal mistake downloading mcafee..you have to totally restore the operating system. good luck
