HP Pavilion 753. Sometimes when I hit the button

HP Pavilion 753. Sometimes when I hit the button to cut it on it acts as though it wants to start and then doesn't. I can hold the button in and it will try to start, but if I hold too long it will cut off. I do this several times and it finally cuts on. Is the button in the front lose? Or is it a more serious problem?

It sounds like the button on the front is getting stuck. Can you look at the manual on how to reassemble the front panel and you mat solve your dilemma.
