The Convergence chips it dead again,might even burn somethings else in ur tv now?Never replaced anythings more or less tolerances in electronics or machanicals equipments only same parts same tolerances.

STK392-110's can be replaced with either the origional IC's or STK392-150's or STK392-180's. the only difference with these IC's is the power handling thresh hold, they do not "take more power" than origionals, they will simply last a bit longer due to running at a slightly cooler temp. check for jumped solder connections between pins, burned or dead resistors and leaking condensers, also some soldering paste or flux is conductive and should be cleaned prior to powering the machine, this can easily be cleaned with a mixture of about 80% Isypropyl alcohol and 20% acetone, this mixture evaporates quickly and will not damage electronic components, simply dip a bristle paint brush and shake off any dripping solution then set the convergence board vertically on a cloth or towel and brush the soldered joints thoroughly until paste or flux is no longer present, usually takes about 5 mins. Also be sure a heat conductive silicon was used between the IC's and heat sink, failure to do so will result in damaging these IC's and possibly the power supply. If none of the above correct the issue, diagnose the power supply. Hope this helps.
