Question about Panasonic PV-GS300 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I am using a PV-GS300 with window xp pro. I have 2 GB of RAM and a 2 GHz processor. I have tried using SONY vegas movie studio as well as panasonic software that came with the camera to do my editing, yet I always get a blue screen error informing me of a physical memory dump whenever I do any editing. I have already needed to re-image once and will need to do it again soon. What do I need to do to prevent this problem in the future?
I would really think about the firewire port. Maybe a different card or updated drivers. Are you getting any messages in the event viewer? Also make sure that XP is up to date.
Anyway maybe you should just be happy that your firewire port works, there are many on here that are not that lucky...
