I have a Viewsonic PT775 CRT monitor (17") w/ standard VGA input (circa 1998 & yes, I know it's old) and it has worked reliably since that time on legacy Macs as well as PC's. It was running fine on a Power Computing PowerTower Pro (Mac clone) when after going into the screen saver mode it suddenly will not come back to refresh even after powering off and then powering back on. This behavior also occurs on PC's with standard VGA output. Could it be 'stuck' in some sort of power saving mode? I still have the manual but there is nothing related to this problem in the troubleshooting section. I've swapped cables and computers/adapters enough times to know those aren't at issue. It powers on (green LED) and then after about 2 seconds it clicks inside, then changes to red LED and will not accept input from any valid source. It's done this before a couple of times but has always come back after powering off. Is she 'kaput' or is there a miracle available? Please help if you can. Thanks.

The bracket(s) holding the monitor on the stand appear to be bent such that the monitor only points downward. Is there any way to take the monitor off the stand and replace the brackets?

Problems with ViewSonic VX2255 Monitor
I cannot seem to get the web camera to work? I downloaded the latest drivers from Windows and Viewsonic. What am I missing? I have even used the side menu to try and enable the camera and it does not seem to work.
