When I turn on to start heating the water ... it clicks on and off and now over time will not heat water. Power is coming to it... I have clean it in and underneath ... worked once and now again will not work.

Are you sure it's not heating the water? The only time it heats is when it takes the detergent, all rinses are in cold water only. To test the heater, put the dial to the OFF position, press and hold the start button whilst turning the dial one click to left (30 easycare) when the two middle lights come on or 888 in display (if there's a display), take your finger off the start, turn the dial to 90 cotton (the long way, counterclockwise, not thro the OFF) press start, the tub will fill and it will do a stationary heat, you should hear the element/water making a noise like a kettle boiling. Leave the machine like this for a few minutes. Put dial to off until the door lock disengages and touch the water to see if it's warm. Put the machine on drain to clear water. If there is defo no heat repost and I will give you step by step of changing element. Cheers Roni
The heating element has gone bad. It's time to replace your coffeemaker.
In the future, make sure you do not add water to the reservoir unless the coffeemaker has been turned of for at least five minutes. This will help prolong the life of the heating element.
Humidifiers usually are wired up to ONLY come on when the Heat is on and the fan running....anyother time you check it it will not be powered or wet...turn your heat on , wait till the fan comes on...then turn up your humidistat you should hear a click if its a flow through type and water should start flowing from the top...or if its tyhe drum style with the sponge...you should see it then turning...if it doesnt turn the pad/spindle may not be installed properly...if only fits one way
Control is programmed to stop
running and not allow any
further cycles if it detects a
water heating problem (no
temperature increase detected
in heated Main Wash on
3 consecutive cycles). Control
blinks the Clean LED 7 times
repeatedly and disables the
Start/Resume key until
cleared.
Running Diagnostics clears the
control and allows it to operate
again. The water heating problem
must be fixed or the control will
stop running again. See potential
causes below.
Heater circuit problem:
■ Open in heater.
■ Open connection or
component in heater circuit.
■ Faulty heater drive circuit on
control.
1. Check operation of heater in
Diagnostics cycle.
2. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect
power.
3. Check resistance of heater and all
components and connections in the
water heating circuit or heat dry
circuit.
your blower motor is trying to seize up on you, it is time to change it, if the fan doesn't come on first your water heater should not light, the fan comes on first to get eccess gasses out of the burner compartment,, do not light with ot the fan first it could combust
That means the control sensed that the heater in the d/w did not operate 3 times in a row. so the unit locks out. First remove the kick plate and you may have to pull the unit out from under the cab, but check your heater. use a meter to see if it reads open, if so order a heater assy it will come with a new control replace it to. If your heater checks good press in sequence normal wash , heat dry ,normal wash, heat dry , normal wash , heat dry three times within 6 sec all the lights will come on then hit cancel. What that did is reset the control and clear that fault. Keep in mind that d/w does not heat it's own water your incoming water temp should be 120. the d/w will maintain that temp. when starting your d/w first turn on your hot water till it gets hot then start your d/w this insures your unit fills with hot water and not cold

Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 3. Check resistance of heater and all components and connections in the water heating circuit or heat dry circuit. Wash pump not pumping water past the heater efficiently. See “WASH PUMP WILL NOT PUMP”. Door switch not making contact consistently: ■ Faulty or sloppy door latch assembly (which can be aggravated by high door closure force keeping strike plate from fully seating). ■ Faulty door switch (high resistance). NOTE: Neutral switch on plastic tub models is only in series with motor and heater; other loads are not affected. 1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 2. Measure resistance of door switch contacts while checking mechanical operation of latch assembly. Confirm switches not loose from assembly. Check strike plate and door closure. Lack of water to heat. See “WILL NOT FILL OR LOW WATER”. PROBLEM: WON’T START AND START/RESUME K
