Canon pixma mp 110 - saying 'put in cartridge'

Hi my canon pixma mp 110 is saying 'put in cartridge' on it's display but I've put in many new cartridges but it won't work at all. It doesn't even let me enter the menu to try reset it. The windows warning is saying something about a printhead. Please helppppppp....I desperately need my printer working. Thanks!

    I have the same problem with MP-130. I have refilled the cartridge, but don't think it's anywhere near 1200 prints. Also, how do you get the lid up high enough to examine the inside of the cartridge tray without taking the whole top off?

    I, too, need my printer.

    Have same problem but proposal seem unpractical at least from layman point of view. If can't solve does it mean the printer is condemned?

The print heads on this printer are integrated to the cartridges. I would check the inside of the cartridge caddy, and make sure that all of the gold contact pins are exposed, not looking damaged, and that there are no tears on the film it is connected with. If you notice anything shady with that film, you want to do an RMA (Return to Merchant Authorization) so you can get a replacement,

Canon offers a 1 year upgrade warranty with all of its printers, which very few people use or pay attention to. This means that if you did not void this warranty by using remanufactured cartridges or freaked out the chips on genuine ones by refilling past 1200 prints, you will actually get the newest model (currently the Canon MP140)

You are facing e5 error which cannot be solved.

For Canon printer, if you refill about 4~5 times, especially color, the printer does not read that particular cartridge.

Well for solution? You need to replace the cartridge with new one.
Just blame Canon....

If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK".
At least you can easily save $100 for color cartridge (facing e5 error after 4~5 times of refill)

take out cardlidge and put back in then reset by unpluging it for a few min.

MP 170 check ink

U051,U052,U053,U059 all are signal or Error is mean CHECK CARTRIDGE
The Fine cartridge may not be install properly,or the cartridge may not be the compatible with this machine.Install and appropriate the fine cartridge.
