Problem for DVD Players

Generic problem for all DVD Players

Locked dvd tray.

The open/close button will not open the dvd tray and a "locked" message appears in the window.
My MixSonic MS988K DVD Player dvd tray won't open up. I tried some of the solutions that were found, like holding the open/closed button for more than 10 seconds, and other solutions, but they don't work. Can someone please help me?

- Sorry, the top part where it says "..."locked" message appears in the window," isn't true; it got put on there accidently. I do not get a message, but it won't open. I looked in the manual, but they didn't say anything.

Hi SoraTotoro,

This sounds like the child lock has been inadvertently activated . Look through the manual to find the key combination to unlock it.
