Verizon PC 5740 wireless card is not being read
Verizon PC 5740 wireless card is not being read when inserted in slot.(no light is blinking) Card is working properly with other pc's. Could something be wrong with pc's slot,or does a setting have to be changed on laptop?

That sound like there is an issue with the slot, but on the laptop there is usually a switch of some kind, which turns on the wireless adapter. See if you can turn that on. If you can't seem to locate it, refer to your computers documentation to see where the switch is. If you still have issues You need to take it to your local computer repair shop, because they can diagnose your problem in a more efficient manner than I can as they can have the laptop in front of them and I don't.
