Re: Volume Problem

I would check to make sure that the volume is up during the call which is different from the volume that you can adjust for the ringer and before making a call. You should also consider toggling between speaker and handset. This will allow you to adjust the volume while looking at the handset then you can go back to the handset when you're certain that the volume is at the maximum.

I am not able to hear any voice in the call mode. Though when put on speaker it works,. I tried to increase teh volume but its at maximum

Since the volume is at max, Its your hardware failure, you need to replace your earpiece speaker in the phone..

When someone call the phone the volume is low

the roller key on the side will adust the volume, i am sure you have tried this with no avail, however there is a little bit more to know. If you press and hold it until it shows the volume 'chart' then you can roll up and down this will adjust volume as well but on the other 'realm' sometime these phones are programmed backwards. The scenario i gave you should increase the volume of purhaps music or videos, and just using the roller it should increase call volume.
Now if neither of these methods work then i would suggest taking compressed air to the speaker, if metal filings gathered in there it will muffle the sound considerably

My htc g1 ring volume is too low. Although ringer volume and media volume is on max mode even then I couldn't here it while I am on the road or soamewhere in the crowd. Please guide me with proper...

It's best to replace your ringer (speaker). After replacing the speaker, you'll know the root of the problem. If it's only with the speaker, there'll be no more problem, but if it's with the ic (small black chip), you'll need to go to a servicing shop to get it checked. As an alternative, you can use your headset for the time being. Good luck.

Low volume once call is established

Try and locate where the volume control of the phone is so that when your making calls, immediately the caller your calling picks up the call, increase the volume by the side of the phone.I think you will hear your caller clearer.

Take care.

Volume is very low

If the volume is still low after increasing it via the button on the side and the unit is still under warranty...return it for a replacement.

Volume is to low when you listen music

There are two volume controls. The main volume for the phone which you should already be familiar with. There is also volume control in Windows Media Player. Volume in WMP is usually increased by pressing up on the direction pad while WMP is open.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

I own a Sony-Ericsson P1i. Its sound volume is very low and though I have kept it on the maximum, I can barely hear the opposite person talking to me. But the music volume is okay, and so is the headphone...

I had this problem too but i found this on the web so i'm gonna copy paste . Good luck!
"The low volume in the in calls in SE P1 / P1i can be easily solved in this way/hack:
(Thanks to montsma, the Junior Member AT

Speaker volume in P1i Service Menu

Go to the Main Menu > Phone > Phone to open the virtual numeric keyboard.

Do the following;

- 1 click up on jog dial and press (*)
- 2 clicks down on jog dial and press (*)
- 1 click down on jog dial and press (*)

to open the hidden Service Menus part of the phone.

Then go to the Service Tests > Speakers.

There are two selections, rear and front, and the "front" adjusts the volume of the ear speaker, which is used during the calls. Increase the volume to %100. Quit the Service Menus and make your call. I made one try and it was cool!"

this problem is due to very low volume of your loudspeaker...when u speak, they can hear u, but due to the low volume of the loud speaker, u can't hear this is the solution: increase the volume of the loudspeaker, by increasing the volume keys at the side of the phone..

NOTE: you should do this when you are in a call....plz be particular in it or the volume won't increase...

good luck

Please help me. I need 2 know how 2 raise the volume of the ringer on my phone

It is in the settings... under profile. Edit one of those and select 1-4 or loud to increase ring volume. Or try editing the ringtone on your PC to increase the decibals of the file.
