My pilot keeps going out on the furnace. We lite it and once the furnace reaches the thermosate temp it shuts off and the pilot goes out. I have replaced the thermocouple and a $400 gas valve. The problem still exist. Now the company says the gas company may not be sending in enough gas or their may be a crack in the furnace block. I have no more money. Please suggest what I should do?
Check the pilot light size. Is it small and not surrounding the top 1/3 of the thermocouple? If it isn't then the pilot orfice is restricted or the pilot tube compression nut could be loose. The pilot gas adjustment screw may also need adjusting if this gas valve has one. These problems should only be addressed by an experienced service tech.

When turning on my Quadra Fire 1000, turn up the thermostat the orange light should come on signaling that it is calling for heat, but the only thing that runs is the combustion blower. What to check?

I have a Trol A Temp MST (forced hot air) duct controller connected to HOneywell CM260 dial thermostat. I purchased Honeywell RTH5100B non-programmable thermostat. Are the two thermostats compatible. I have wires connected to terminals 4 (W), 5(R) & 6(Y) on the dial thermostat.
