I have a Speed Queen dryer that just stopped last night. There appears to be no power getting to the unit--dryer does not start, light does not come on, timer does not advance--yet the circuit breaker isn't tripped. I did cycle the breakers off and back on, but that made no difference.

Hello

Is there power at the dryer receptacle? Is the dryer wired directly or does wire from electrical breaker go to a receptacle first? Have it checked with a meter. If unit is wired directly have it changed to a receptacle and cord. Make sure there is power at the connections on the dryer. If everything is okay, then it is a dryer problem

My speed queen dryer is displaying push search 99 what does that mean

The message "Push Search 99" displayed on your Speed Queen dryer typically indicates that the dryer is in the diagnostic mode. This mode is used by technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues with the dryer's operation.
To exit the diagnostic mode and resume normal operation, you can try the following steps:
  1. Press and hold the "Start" button or the "Cancel" button on your dryer's control panel for approximately 3 to 5 seconds. This should exit the diagnostic mode and return the dryer to normal operation.
  2. If the above step doesn't work, try powering off the dryer by unplugging it from the power source or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the dryer. Leave it powered off for a few minutes, and then plug it back in or turn the circuit breaker back on. This can sometimes reset the control panel and clear any error messages.

Speed queen 30eg wont start. I have power through the switches all the way to the motor. I can hook the motor up direct and it runs fine, but i cant get it to start with the push button start

If you can jumper across the start switch you can eliminate the start switch as the problem. The switch acts as an open in the start control wiring. If the unit starts when you jumper across the switch, then replace the switch. If you are uncomfortable in jumpering out the switch you can unplug the dryer "disconnect power" just unplug the dryer then use a multimeter to read across the switch. Place the meter on continuity mode for an audible beep. If the meter doesn't beep when you press the switch to close the contacts, then replace the switch. Hope this helps!

The air mattress was working fine the night before and then last night did not want to inflate. The motor does not start, it is plugged in, the socket works. I plug it in and go to turn the know to inflate...

most likely if you pump is not working, the intake must be clogged preventing air from passing and cooling the pump. That's how pumps and things like hair dryer short out. Or something could be blocking the fan from starting.even the power cord could be bad, I would check those things and go from their.

I have speed queen commerical washer top loader, last night it stopped agitating. What could be the problem?

  • Make sure lid is closed.
  • Pull timer knob out to start washer.
  • Make sure power cord is plugged all the way into the electrical outlet.
  • Check the house fuse or circuit breaker.
  • The motor overload protector may have stopped the cycle. It will reset itself in two or three minutes and restart the washer automatically.
  • Broken drive belt. Call the service person.
  • These are a few possiblities and steps to take for further analysis

Sounds like start winding switch. I would replace whole motor assembly. Try on ebay for a used one that looks newer. Used motors will save you some serious money.

You may have a venting problem. Check outside to make sure vent is blowing good. It is possible that the motor may have went bad with all of the problems associated with a clogged vent.
