that is a sign warning you that the screen is faulty.may be you placed something heavy on the laptop.try to lat it rest it for somedays maybe it can correct itself

during the fixing of u'r new screen u might have accidentall applied pressure to the screen area hence the line a new screen would do the magic other than that u would have to manage u'r screen that way
