Question about Lexmark Polaroid P310 Photo Printer

Prints only one picture - no choice for which picture to print.

How does one select which picture to print? There doesn't seem to be any way to choose. So far it has repeatedly selected the same photo from many in the camera's memory card.

This link will get you information. See Page 15. Refer to the PictBridge instructions included with your camera. It helped me.

The printer is printing the pictures nicely , but not the text

Black cartridge bad or not working. Try printing in black & white or grayscale, if it doesn't print at all then I'm correct in my assumption.

The black ink has stopped printing. Put in two different new cartridges and that doesn't seem to be the problem. It was first noticed when photos were printing out funny even after changing the color...

Make sure you are inserting genuine Lexmark cartridges.
Try to clean the cartridge nozzles. Refer to the steps below:

Cleaning the Print Cartridge Nozzles:

1. Open the Lexmark Solution Center. Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Lexmark 1300 Series. Select Solution Center.

2. From the Maintenance tab, click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.

3. Click Print. A nozzle page prints, forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the clogged nozzles.

4. Print the document again to verify that print quality has improved.

Using the control panel

1. Press Menu.

2. Press the down arrow button until you highlight Clean Cartridge.

3. Press Select. A nozzle page prints, forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the clogged nozzles.

4. Print the document again to verify that print quality has improved.

The printer seems to be working fine as far as running the paper through for printing but.. it is always blank ....nothing prints on the paper ...what can I do ? Thank you !!

Two things for you to check are:

1. When you click on PRINT, you should have a choice of PREFERENCES and usually on the front screen you have a drop down list of printer choices so make sure the correct printer is selected.

2. You did not mention if you have checked to see if you need new ink cartridges as the ones you have may be empty?

Hope that starts you in the right direction..........................Pete

I have had this printer for over a year and it has worked flawlessly until about 3 weeks ago and now it takes about 2 minutes after I click on print for the printer to activate. Any suggestions?

If your X3550 prints OK when it does start, perhaps the selection for printing immediately when receiving a print job has been changed to printing after entire print job has spooled.

This selection can usually be toggled between these two choices.

How do i print in black and white?

When you do click Print, you get a option

Page Set up
Printer Options

CLick on Printer options and select B&W

You can also make choice of you want dark prints or medium.

Dark prints will waste lot of your toner.

Avoid thick black panels in your printout material

My HP office jet k 60 prints a color test page fine. When I go to print a picture or excel spreadsheets in color they only print in black and white

Check under the properties for your printer.
If you use the print selection under file instead of the little printer icon in excel, you will be given a window where properties is one of the choices. Check in properties and there is sometimes a box that says print in greyscale. If that is checked, uncheck it.

Hl-4070cdw prints booklets with upside down pages

I had the same problem and finally figured it out.

When you select print and the print window comes up:
select Printing Preferences or Properties (depends on program you are using),
select the Advance tab,
select the icon that has 'A' and 'B' on two pages (near the top left),
select Booklet Printing. (then Okay and Okay/Print, depends on program)

In all honesty, I'm can't remember if this is what I selected to fix the problem, but the choice is on this page. Try this with each choice of "Flip on Left Edge" and then "Flip on Right Edge".
If neither works, unselect Booklet Printing and try "Flip on Top Edge" and if that doesn't work, try "Flip on Bottom Edge". Etc.

I know the solution is on this screen so experiment until you find it.
Good Luck!

Black lines running down the prints

it seems that your print head is the problem you can try to clean it first..
but if you already try to do this no other choice is to have a service center o change it for you.
