Re: Dryer turns on doesnt dry

Suspect heating element or thermal fuse. The heating element and fuse can be checked with an ohm meter. The reading should be 0-2 ohms on both devices. If heating element reads infinity (nothing) replace heating element and fuse. If the fuse reads infinity then replace the fuse.

My equator ez3720 cee combo washer dryer doesnt dry well

Unfamiliar with these machines. The dryer portion probably works like any other condenser dryer so that means it has a condenser which is used to remove the water from the warmed air. If the condenser is clogged and in need of cleaning the drying mode will suffer. The lint filter should also be cleaned. Like I said I never even saw one up close.

Wdc1025 splendide all in one combo, the dryer doesnt seem to get hot enought to dry??help

Do the clothes eventually dry over a longer period time than usual? If so, there are 2 possible problems.

1. Your dryer vent is nearly clogged
2. If it is electric, then the heating element is going bad.

Dryer doesnt get hot anymore after 2 yrs

You may want to check the dryer interior cabinet and/or the entire exhaust duct run to ensure you don't have any clogs. The following link explains many of the problems that can cause poor drying efficiency and longer dry times:

Before assuming you have a problem with the appliance, check your installation to ensure you are providing the dryer with proper exhaust and air flow. A dryer in a clogged state or having improper air flow will not dry efficiently and will cause the heating circuits to actually overheat. Eventually, this can lead to component failures and is the source of fire hazards.

If you have any questions, please post back an let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

yes a lot of times the dryer vent gets clogged up and the unit cant breathe and the heat elements are cut off by a safety overheat switch or someone couldve pushed he dryer back too far and kinked the hose take the dryer vent off of the dyer and pull it away from the wall and dry a load of clothes if it starts drying u may have a clogged dryer vent or u had he dryer vent kinkedif that doesnt remedy the problem then more than likely u have one of ur overheat sensors gone out u have to take the wires off of them and check for continuity thru them they are usually on the back on the element housing and the blower housing and round take the wires off of them and check for continuity

My hotpoint dryer doesnt dry well. What do i must review?

Electric dryer? Try cleaning lint from the vent & inside the dryer - unplug it, remove the back, vacuum everything including inside the exhaust vent which you may be able to access better by removing a few screws. Poor airflow caused this problem with my dryer.

Candy washer dryer not drying

there is a safety feature which advances the timer to a stop position if it overheats on dry. this is caused by poor air flow.
to cure, take the dryer duct off mand clean of lint. this especially accumulates at the bend where the duct enters the tub.

Dryer - acquaviva 1300 - how it works?

the dryer has 2 thermostats if these are blown then the heater wont work but you can check to see if the element is burned out by unplugging your machine opening the top off it the wires that plug into the element replace with a plugged wire with bare wires on the end place each wire into the correct connector and turn the plug on this will either heat the element up or if it doesnt then the element is blown m8
