I recently purchased a Pioneer SC-07 in North America(110v/60Hz) and need to convert it to use in Australia (240/50Hz) Am I able to purchase power supply to make this happen?
You need to locate a power converter. This is basically a trqansformer that will convert the 240V system into a 110V system. These are generally available anywhere where travel supplies are sold. You can also contact Pioneer and see if they have a conversion kit which would require the replacement or alteration of the internal transformer on the unit.

My 5500 amp drives my home room by room audio system. It has been working just fine (three years until today. When I fired everything up the rooms that are on the 5500 amplifier, 8 in total, are not performing (no sound). The amplifier "on light" comes on when the power button is pushed and the amp heats up but nothing is coming out of the speakers. Neither the distortion alert or internal protection lights are lighted. I have checked all connection on the surround sound amplifier (it works fine) and the room speaker spilter as well as the input and output connections on the 5500. I noticed on the back panel of the 5500 it cautioned to remove the plug from the wall when changing the fuse. Could this be a blown fuse or would there be some indication of a fuse problem like the power light not glowing red? If it could be a blown fuse can you tell be where the fuse is located as I don't have a schematic or users manual for the amp?

I have a Sherwood AX-4050R Amp. The RCA inputs on the AUX channel are faulty. What's the easiest way to fix them? I have opened the casing to the Amp, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get to the inputs on the inside (some screws, which would allow me to remove the circuit board, seem blocked). any solutions?
