Question about InFocus ScreenPlay 7205 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Infocus Screenplay 7205

The projector searches for the image while watching Comcast HDTV channels not only during commercial format changes (1080 to 480) but during programs as well. It seems to happen when the image is darker. Infocus technical support suggested adjusting the sync threshold but this hasn't worked so far. The system is set-up component video through an AVR. Any advise?

My Infocus ScreenPlay 7205 has vertical lines throughout the whole picture when in use. Only about 1300 hours on the unit.

This could be an issue with the projector but here are some possible other causes.
1. make sure the wires running to the unit are not by any power source or other elctronic devices as this can cause interference.
2. use a differrent input source to check if the lines remain. (cable/satellite, dvd player, camcorder). if it does than it is most likely the projector.
hope this helps

Smalll Picture

In the projector's menu under "aspect ratio" is sounds as though you have it set to "native"
this setting usually results in a small image.
Try either the 16x9 or the 4x3 setting depending on the aspect ratio of the source. I hope this helps you.
