Can you provide some more information? Is it a top load, direct drive, "Neutral Drain" model? Following is the Whirlpool Service Manual for those washers. https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

I have a ten year old Asko W660. The display is showing "Wash Motor Fault". A repairman can out and looked at the display and without doing any other diagnostics (or touching the machine for that matter) announced, "The motor needs to be replaced." Is replacing the motor the only solution to a "Wash Motor Fault" problem? Will replacing the motor fix the problem?

I have a Zanussi ZWF 1231 W machine which is occasionally temperamental but usually sorts itself out. At the moment when I start a wash, for example a 139 minute wash, it seems to skip part of the wash and instead of flashing 0 when the wash is finished and sounding that the wash is complete, 139 mins shows up on the display. It is not taking the softener into the wash either. I've tried it on a few different washes, and once or twice it has run through the wash correctly.
