Are there fuses in Dell monitors?

There are no fuses in dell monitors, if there is a power issue, the power supply board may need to be replaced. when they burnt out, resistors, capacitors etc... gets fried.

The Dell E173FP has a know issue with the black screen issue that indicates ablown driver board. We have a step by step guide to the repair postedon our web site at: www.ccl-la.comClick on the monitor repair section and then the version of the E173FPmonitor you have, the ending letter will be either f, b, or c. If youcan solder then you should be able to do the repair yourself. If youdon't want to do the repair yourself we do offer a repair service for$30 plus return shipping.
