...the why i dont really know but the how to revive it maybe... press both (power and home) buttons for 10 to 15 secs, if you see the apple logo then its ok now and be cool else your battery could had damaged by charging it in the car... remember any celphone car chargers must disconected before you ignite your car. excuse my english i am native spanish speaker.
