Acer laptop wont start after I interrupted a service pack. I know how to get it back to factory settings but require a password, empowering technology password which I cannot remember. Is there anyway I can change password

- Thanks for your answer however I have contacted Acer and they will not let me change password and they want £68.99 to merely change it to factory settings. By restoring it like this I shall loose all my files, and to charge me so much is riduculous, and I am covered by warranty, but they say this is not covered.

you should return it to the supplier because they have a security password for your acer laptop.
