Hi,
the problem here happened to my PC as well, whenever I tried to run eRecovery manager, either the computer hangs or it restarts. Usually the recovery software should be used when the drivers fail
Possible Solution: 1) Reinstall the eRecovery manager from the CD/DVD provided 2) Download by going online: http://support.acer-euro.com/empowering_technology/utility.html
