My NAD C 541 cd player will not play any discs. I open it put the disc in and it tries to scan and then rejects the disc and opens on its' own. There is the word 'over' in red below the track number indicator and I can't get rid of this. Is this what is wrong and how do I fix it. Thanks Lindsay

My bose cd player in my truck tells me "cd error" and the cd stops playing after about a minute. I've tried to use a cleaning cd but it won't accept it. Is this fixable?

I have a two year old NAD C542 and recently added a Musical Fidelity X-DAC V3. The DAC is connected via a 75ohm coaxial cable. The problem is occasional brief cutting out of sound (like skipping but not the disk skipping - if you know what I mean) at the begining of tracks. The DAC works fine with my Sony DVD player and the NAD player is fine using its own DAC. Other than the skipping the combination of the two sounds absolutely fantastic. Is it unusual to have a problem in the digital output stage of the NAD cd player? Or could it be that because it is a HDCD player as well, that there is a compatability issue? Please help

Everything lights up, open tray and place CD in and close it spins and then I get D1 on my display. This is on every CD that I place in the tray the same process repeats itself. Even if I get track one on there it will spin and then return to the D1 on the display. Is this fixable.
