hi, yesterday i decided to go to acer's website and update my drivers as i just upgraded to windows 7. before that there was no problem with the graphic card, but after updating, the screen will constantly blink every 10-15 secs. also, when i start my game of warcraft, the game isn't full screen and now it fits like 2/3 of the screen although i tried to adjust the resolution. i'm using acer aspire 5920G with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M. thanks
i have the same video card with the same problem. first off download the .zip version of your driver. Extract it on your desktop. then go to Start, Control Panel, System, Then Device manager. Once in device manager look for Display Adapters. right click on it then where it says standard tvga driver right click and then go to update driver. Choose Browse My computer, Then let me pick, then select have disk. go to browse and find the display folder located in the nvidia folder you extracted onto your desk top.
select the nvdha.inf file. then open it. scroll down the certificate list untill you see the first certicate for your video card then install. This is video only. its the same run down with your HD audio file the trick is use the .inf files. the hd you have to manually change in your sound option when uing hdmi
