Bluetooth always says memory full when I recieve

when someone trys to send me something by bluetooth it says memory full, ive got a 2gb memory card thats holding everything else, I know how to move things from the phone to the memory card but it still says memory full. The memory status shows that there is more than enough memory. But it does nt recieve content
