My videos and pictures are freezing (by 2 users)

my pictures are freezing when playing a dvd and some audio tracks cannot play especially the last
1 Other User Has The Same Problem

I have a Sony DVP-NS50P DVD player, bought about 2 years' back:.
The problems started coming a few months back:
1. It takes a lot of time in loading the DVD
2. In fact any operation (like: Open/close/loading) takes a lot of time
3. Sometimes after the loading the DVD does not play
4. When it does play, after sometime it freezes
Can anyone help out, PLEASE.
Suggest a new solution for this problem
