Many times the crankshaft may have rust build-up between the shaft and clutch mating surfaces. *NOTE (especially if you wash the unit with a garden hose after use ... this is NOT a good practice when the unit is still hot .... as it encourages rust build-up and bearing failures)
You will need to VERY GENTLY (you can damage the clutch by prying too hard) pry the clutch assembly with a large screwdriver or pry bay, and then make sure it will not hit the floor too hard when it does come loose.
*Note; upon re-assembly, use a SMALL amount of grease to lubricate the mating surface of the crankshaft and inside clutch.

I am looking for a manual for a Mastercraft 10.5 HP snowblower. Model no. CX00001. This machine was sold by Canadian Tire Corp. Likely made by MTD. I have no other info as it is a used machine. It has a 29'' wide opening and is a 2 stage blower.
