Heater blower does not work.

The heater blower does not work for my bmw 316 1997 model. The fuse of the heater blower was alright.

I have the same problem on a 2001 330Ci, A/C blower would work then not, then work, then not, now not all the time. Checked fuse(s) and relay behind fuse box (not sure which relay it is). Not sure where to locate the resistor for the system.

    Thanks for your help!

Sounds like the blower motor resistor (this is what gives it variable speeds) has gone out.

Heater relay 97 bmw

Go to the front power distribution box and check 30A fuse 20 (GRN/BRN wire) which feed power to the blower relay. When the ignition switch is in START or RUN position, the relay closes and power is fed to the final stage unit. Depending upon the state of the automatic climate control module, power output from the final stage module is applied to the blower motor. If checking all this does not solve the problem, you may have a clogged heater core

1988 bmw 325is heater keeps blowing 30amp fuse, tried to find a short but me heater blower fan isnt working what could be the problem. cant keep a fuse without blowing

More than likely the fan motor its self is short to ground try to unhook the wires to the fan motor and install a new fuse and then turn the fan on with the wires removed and if the fuse is still good you know it is the fan motor its self

Heater blower not working

It sounds like your cabin air filter has stopped up common problem on these cars. You have to remove the glovebox to get to it. If this filter stops up, your fan will be running on high but hardly anything will come out of the vents.
