How do i fix the 10 blink sos problem on my 42

In my experience 8 out of 10 times blinking LED indicates power problems.

I don't have the service manual for your Viera to see what 10 blinks stand for, but if I had to take a guess it'll be loss of power somewhere, which means one of two things - bad power board or short circuit somewhere.

Open the TV, detach the largest/thickest cable going from the power board to another large board with at least one large heatsink on it, then power on again and see if the same 10 blinks show up or if you can power successfuly.

if you can chances are more than high your problem is in the power board.

That is without any particular knowledge of your particular TV model. That means I might be wrong and if so I'd be glad to hear where from someone with more knowledge or experience.
