this problem is an easy thing to create when changing housings
the thing you have done is simply forgot to remone a little magnet from your old housing if you still got ya old housing have a look its a little oblong bar less than a cm long and about 10mm wide
that will be your problem so get ya screw drivers out and get fixing,
