I'm trying to reload Dreamweaver 4.0 which was on this computer originally till I had to reload windows XP pro yesterday. It's asking me for a serial number from the product I originally upgraded from. That box and manual disappeared long ago. Is there any workaround for this?

try www.serial.us website. Or do a search on serail numbers for that particular program. If you register with the company they should email you your number.
