if you want to go wired on your router, you dont need a password.
If you want to connect wireless and forgot the wireless password, then
1. Log on to the web interface of the router and change the password in the wireless settings. 2. If you have more time in your hands , reset your router and bring it back to factory defaults and set it up all over again
