Need assistance changing the convergence IC's -STK392-570... can I replace them with a standard soldering iron and non-lead solder? Are they mounted directly on the heat sinks?

I have step by step start to finish instructions for this repair if you want them.
You can use regular solder--the original is lead free, it does not matter.
