2) Enter 9653,a service page will appear,
3) Use Up/Down Bottom to change region Codes
4) Set to 0 (zero) for multi-region

DVD region is an anti-piracy method to block DVDs from other countrys to be played on a region where that DVD isn't available for selling. You still can watch that DVD by changing the DVD Player region code from options but be aware that you have a limited number of changes, after changes reach 0 you cannot change DVD region code anymore and your DVD player will be stucked to a certain region that you selected.
Where did u bought this DVD player?US,Canada,and Mexico?The DVD disc. used NTSC region format.Asia,Europe,Africa,and the Middle East.The DVD disc. used PAL region format.They can't be mix or it will not play as u find out.If u move in and out to another region of the world.U must have a regions free DVD player to play either NTSC or PAL regions.
Don't know if it will work on your. I have a jWin JD-VD141 and the code works. Have the DVD tray open (means ejected) then press 9735. A menu will pop up and choose Regions 0 then exit. You DVD player should play DVD from all regions.
To change the Region code on your player, open Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device manager, and click on DVD/CD ROM drives, then right click on the DVD drive and click Properties then click on DVD Region. You can enter a new region and it also shows you how many changes have been made. NOTE you can make only 4 changes and the player will lock permanently on the 4th change. If you want to play DVD from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmware to make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrong firmware the player will be a piece of junk. The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece of software that allows you to play DVDs from any region. There are several available on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From: - www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm
If you have relocated then the region code may need to be changed. However using region 0 is most practical. Clean the optical head of the player with a CD/DVD cleaner too & see if it responds............sodeep

Put in a DVD and enjoy! NOTE: The 0 in the sequence above represents the region code. 0 = region free. If you want to change your player to just a specific region code, replace the 0 with the region number you want.
try with the disc tray closed. and if that doesn't work turn player off by plug socket and turn back on and start from the setup menu part of the unlock code after turning player back on.
It means that the DVD is formatted for a region other than the one that you are in. if this is a dvd you made yourself, you need to change the region code, otherwise the people who sold you the DVD gave you the wrong kind.
