Hi,

For you to use the web camera on your computer, you'll have to locate the application software that starts the web cam. If that is not available then you'll have to download it. Type into google the laptop specification and brand you are using for web cam application software. Say type in "download web cam software for dell vostro 1500" this should do the trick as you did not mention your laptop type. This would have allowed me tell you the web cam software for the device.

Hi Peter,
Few Cards need to be formatted before using it. You need to format the SD card using a card reader or adapter and connected to your PC. if you have done this and still does not work, check the below details.
Have you checked if the Camera supports the SD card you purchased ? Many Camera's do not support high storage SD Card like 8 or 16 GB. Check the Camera Specification to find out which card is supported.
Also check if the Lock on the side of the SD Card is unlocked. You will find the lock on right side of the Camera.

"Dew" means there is condensation (moisture) in the camera. The camera may refuse to operate until it is thoroughly dried out.

Read your manual Claire. Blurred images can be caused by many things non of which you have indicated here so far. Make sure the setting is set to auto so that camera decide what shutter speed/aperture to make. Make sure you do not have it set to Macro mode. Here are a couple of suggestions But above all take the time to familiarize your self with it. And don't let friends use it - tell them to get their own .Friends drop other people cameras and then say sorry but don't offer to pay for the replacement.
