I can help you set it up the way you like but need more info. What exactly do you want to change? Xp appearance? What happened that it is not setup that way anymore? Maybe we can just restore some settings and everything will revert back to the way they were.

Try this for starters:
RIGHT-Click on START
Select properties
If "start menu" is selected, click the selection for "classic start menu"
If "classic start menu" is selected, click the selection for "start menu"

Interested in getting more input.

Hope this helps!

Hello, Roy.

Your question is not clear - do you want your computer to work better ? Do you want your computer to go back to the way it was when you purchased your system ? What problems are you experiencing ??

But, I will give you a few suggestions ... if you are experiencing problems with your computer and want to roll back to an earlier time when everything worked, I'd suggest System Restore. Go to Start - Programs - Accessories - System Restore. If you want your computer to go back to the way it was when you purchased your system, use Factory Restore.

You need to provide more info to us, such as your brand and model of computer, for FixYa to assist you further.

Hope this helps.

This is a little vague but I guess you want to reset your PC back to an earlier version.. Click on start, Select help and support. In the windows that opens, select undo changes with system restore which is in the right column under TASKS. when the next window opens, select restore my computer to an earlier time and calendar will open. the days that are highlighted are days that you can restore your pc back to. select a highlighted date and click on next. Confirm your selections and the machine will restore itself to the selected date. This may take some time. Once your PC has rebooted, it should be in the same state it was on the date you chose and any changes made after that date should have been removed.. It is a good idea to set a restore point before you change anything or install new software as this allows you to reset any changes and return your setup back to a known good state. You set a restore point through Start, Help and Support, Undo changes with system restore but you must click on the "create a restore point" option. Type in a name for the restore point and click next..

The Way it use to be, When? Remember the date and restore the PC to that date or somewhere then, a few days here or there. How??? Go to Start->Accessories->System Tools->Restore. The PC would take a reboot before you are shifted back in time. But it would be restored to that date which is bold in the calender.
