My dell latitude d510 drops wireless connection,

my dell latitude d510 drops wireless connection, lately as many as 5-6 times an hour. The routers seems to be working, and the wireless connection Icon says I am connect by I get the screen telling me I am not connected. Usually when I repair the network connection it comes back.

The problem may not be the WI-FI but in the router itself. You didn't mention the strength of the connection when you are able to connect. It's also possible that the channel the router is on has interference and changing the channel will provide a more reliable signal.
