I have a roper dryer red4440sq0 that will not turn on.. I have checked all power its going to the dryer and hitting what it needs to hit and suggestions?
I bought this dryer 2 years ago. After exactly 1 year, the heat stopped working completely. It turned out to be the Thermal Cutoff device ($20). Then, just last week, the thing stopped working completely. It took me all of 10 minutes to determine that it was the Thermal Fuse (http://www.appliancepartspros.com/part_details.aspx?part_id=3132867), just by using my continuity detector on the two terminals. I unhooked the terminal wires, stuck them together, and the dryer turned on fine. They count on people buying new dryers completely whenever one of these dinky little parts made by child laborers in Asia fail. The fuse is $10 at the site I just linked.

So I had Sears come out and look and I got an estimate to replace the PWR/PCB ASM-Main and one other electronic part. Then I found the service code and it says that the "Blower Motor is not getting up to speed. Repair or replace as necessary", if the Inverter was jacked up would I still get the Blower motor message ? I am really confused.
