I could not re-install software for my older 6110 officejet all-in-one after explorer messed it up. A friend got it working, only the printer with hp psc officejet 4.2 corporate edition. Then, this genius tried to fix my fax and tried to install it from the original software. I guess you aren't supposed to use the original software after the corporate is used. I AM VERY LIMITED WITH MY UNDERSTANDING OF UPDATING, DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING THINGS FROM THE INTERNET. I would love to be able to use my fax and my printer again, HP Director disappeared with Internet Explorer 8. I've long since removed explorer. How do I update drivers and install them? Help, please I can't afford a printer and a fax. DID I MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL?

looking for downloads. The program has a auto facility too check what you are running.
Look carefully, entering Printer details, should come up with recent updates for your machine, download most recent, takes time to load and install.
Hint, before starting, remove the old program, saves time.
