My epson The color of my epson projector S1 has quite a lot of yellow with different color mode (presentation, theatre etc ...). I tried to adjust color setting but not success. I even tried to reset the setting but still no hope. Please suggest new idea how to fix it to get the nature color of the movie. Thanks

The light filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. it's a common problem with lcd projectors if you don't keep them clean and cool. unfortunately, you'll have to replace the entire optical engine, as epson does not sell individual parts.

My epson projector center is blurry

Hello, if it's mounted you may have never adjusted the "focus" on it before. Just slowly turn the end grey colored lens one way or the other with a stationary picture such as the menu on the screen, adjust it to where the lettering is the sharpest.....tks

My Epson EMP-S1 projector shows pink color with VGA input only, ok with video input and menu screen. What can be the problem?

With the VGA you have a bad cable or a bad input jack. I would bet on the cable first. You are missing the green or the blue on the screen and that is why the red/pink is more pronounced now.

Display is not the right color

This generally means there is a fault with the cable between pc and projector. If you have a spare VGA lead try it and see if that fixes it.

Also make sure that the cable is tightly pushed onto both ends

The color on my Epson Powerlite S3 powerpoint projector is very purple; not the true colors at all. I have tried adjusting it using the color, tint, brightness, etc. adjustments but it never gets to the...

Two possible solutions:

1) The video mode is set to Component/RGB instead of VGA.

2) The cable you have may have a break inside of it.

Let me know if you find anything.

Greenish tint

Not sure if this is the solution, but I believe the color polarizer filters have been burned. I have a yellow haze circle on mine and I'm pretty sure that's the problem. In my case the blue filter is burned, leaving the red and green stronger yeilding a yellow blur.

Yellowish colored circle in the center of the screen has slowly appeared over the last bulb replacement. Just changed out old bulb, but Color distortion in the center is still there. Any Ideas

I have the same problem with my Epson Powerlight S1+ and I believe it is a slightly burned Blue Polarizer filter. I've been reading a lot about this, and when the blue polarizer gets burned, they yellowish haze starts to appear.

Big Green Bar

Hi Tom017

Does this green bar show even when there is no signal inserted into the Projector ?

If it doesn't then you can try using a different cable - that should solve this for you.

If it doesn't then you might be in for a quite expensive Mainbaord repair or replacement.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya !
