i have 2 dual 4ohm subs to wire on a mono amp. now have series in box and parallel to amp. i need to know what the ohm load is

if you will connect the 2 in series , it would be

Speaker 1 + Speaker 2 = 8 ohms

assuming Speaker 1 = 4 ohms = Speaker 2




on each dual 4 ohm, if you will use it at parallel it would be 2 ohms


so 2 ohms + 2 ohms = 4 ohms

if each of the dual subs is parallel


phasing of the speaker is also important in wiring the speakers.
