If you mean like a green tint, spots, or lines, try using a different video card, if the one in now is built in/integrated, try using a pci video card or agp video card or pci express video card according to what *********** board requires. They will look like this. http://www.diamondmm.com/images/bustypedrwng.gif

It's the graphic chip in the laptop. Sadly you have to change the mainboard, so my recommendations is just to get another computer, as the mainboard is expensive and the warranty is not good.

Acer Laptop TM240 , display has green tinge....

This is one of two things.

The first is that the color settings in the advanced section of your display properties has been altered.

The second and unfortunately the more likely is that your lcd screens back light or cfl (compact fluorescent lamp) has began to fail, usually due to age.

If this is the case you can either replace the entire lcd panel or just the cfl. Changing the lcd panel is fairly straight forward, but changing the cfl while it is the cheaper option it is a much more technical job to complete.

All scanned documents have blue background.

You have to take the machine to service partner who can be found on the brother homepage of your country.(www.brother.com)
The scanner needs calibration which can only be done by service personel.

Too much yellow in picture

The problem with the set is that the blue gun has gone weak, and not emitting at par with red and green guns in your picture tube. Turn of the blue screen and get the grainy display on the screen (detach the cable) and enter into service mode to fine tune until you get a perfect or black and white grain pattern.
