where are carbon brushes located inside Hoover Performa Plus PPA 146-80 and how easy is it to remove them and replace?

The carbon brushes are part of the drive motor , early machines had replaceable ones ,but on many modern machines they are not replaceable , it depends on which motor has been fitted . you need to know if / why they need replacing anyway before attempting same.
