Acer computer speakers

Speaker issue desktop's only
1. Plug USB into USB port (any)
2. Plug Black speak cable into LIGH GREEN (NOT BLACK) connector
3. You will see a popup window - make sure it is on Front Speaker out
4. Click OK - you will a cartoon computer with speakers on either side -then click on one of the
speakers to test
5. if that does not work then follow this:
Reinstalling apps:
1. If in Windows - Start - Programs - Acer Empowering Technology - Acer E-recovery management -
click on Restore at bottom then "Reinstall apps and drivers" - look for hardware drivers that you
need. Click "install now"

hi couple i things to suggest:

1 go to control panel click on system then on hardware then device manager then look for universal serial bus control these are your usb ports click on it will give a small list each 1 is the individual port make sure each 1 is enabled if not enable and this will sort your problem.if not try.
2 if you pull out cable going to usb port then reinsert it see if in bottom right hand corner it says found new hardware if it does it your computer is aware your speakers are connected if not try going to control panel and click on add hardware it will take you through some steps to find the speakers it searchs for anything you that as been added to your system should do the job for you.
